I am associate professor in philosophy at the Erasmus School of Philosophy (Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Netherlands) and Guest Professor (research) at Ghent University (Belgium). Before joining Erasmus University, I was a Marie Skłodowksa Curie Fellow at the University of Bayreuth (2018-2020) and a postdoctoral fellow of the Flemish Research Foundation (2012-2022).
Besides publishing my own research, I served as associate editor for Erkenntnis, an International Journal for Scientific Philosophy from 2018 till 2025 and co-edited several books and special issues of journals. I am also co-founder and core committee member of the European Digital Democracy Network (aka EDDY).
I enjoy studying formal models from logic, decision theory, and social choice theory and their applications to a variety of subjects, including but not limited to: group responsibility, social ontology, democracy, and argumentation.
